Contemporary Mythology for the Most Ancient Global Culture
Hapby, Hipby Sunday from France...may fruitful blessings from the Tree of Life grace your spirit, your health, your outlook on existence, and nourish your dreams, better than you can imagine for yourself, in every conscious moment.
The spiritual tradition of mythology is a compelling art, useful for communicating abstract thoughts and obscure concepts. While Cannabis is an integral part of many ancient mythologies, portraying cultural relationships on every continent where it is grown, there is no contemporary global mythology that has been written and distributed, as such.
This morning I was guided to http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/Gen/2/9.html#Gen_3_22_2
in searching for "The Tree of Life."
It has occrred to me since then that the global Cannabis culture might benefit from a contemporary, THC-inspired mythology.
This blog is an expression of sincere spiritual regard and "Thanksgiving" for a global sacrament, celebrated in photographs, illustrations, paintings and written images of a mind which seeks to honor the ancient and abiding influence of the Cannabis plant.
